Book Review: Cross the Line by Simone

I don’t know about you, but the summer season always makes me crave romance books! I want something light and fluffy when the weather gets hot and CROSS THE LINE entirely fits the bill with a smattering of disability rep for good measure!

CROSS THE LINE is a brother’s best friend adult romance with EDS representation based on the author’s personal experience. I’d never read an F1 romance before and now that I have I can say… I don’t actually like F1 romance haha. The setting did absolutely nothing for me, but I enjoyed Willow and Dev’s romance. Seeing them support and care for each other was really special.

Willow’s EDS is not particularly central to the book. I would call it incidental disability rep as if you removed it, very few things would change about the plot. I usually gravitate more towards disability rep that’s vital to the plot, but I think it’s important to read both kinds of disability rep and I’m very glad CROSS THE LINE exists! Now can someone please buy me some macarons because this book made me way too hungry! 😂 [laughing and crying emoji]
