Our mission is to create a community for our fellow bookish friends that highlights and centers disabled voices. Every other month, we read a book with disability representation & discuss our thoughts at the end of the month via a group chat.
Although we hope to find fellow spoonies & disabled book lovers, this club is open to everyone seeking to diversify their shelves!

September’s Book: Until the Clock Strikes Midnight by Alechia Dow
Book Review: Cross the Line by Simone
Check out @LibraryOfDreaming’s review of CROSS THE LINE by Simone , an adult romance with EDS representation. This book was cute and tender but the disability representation is not particularly central to the story and the F1 setting was not really our cup of tea.
Book Review: Owning It edited by Jen Campbell, James Catchpole, & Lucy Catchpole
Check out @LibraryOfDreaming’s review of OWNING IT, a middle grade anthology edited by Jen Campbell, James Catchpole, and Lucy Catchpole. This short story collection features a wide variety of disabilities as the authors recount stories from their childhoods. The stories are for the most part engaging, diverse, and moving, but one stood out negatively…
Book Feature: One for All by Lillie Lainoff
Check out @LibraryOfDreaming’s review of one of her favorite disability reads: ONE FOR ALL by Lillie Lainoff, a YA gender bent Musketeers retelling with POTS representation based on the author’s personal experience. This is still an all time favorite and deserves to be known as a disability rep classic!
